I worked with the San Antonio Report to launch their new series, “Live Like a Local”. Through a series of icons that capture the real spirit of San Antonio, I created web banners, social images, and a new logo.
I illustrated merchandise, including posters, tote bags, and stickers, for the Youth Capitol Takeover. My merch amplified the voices of the young people at the event and acted as promotional material for this and future events.
I was part of the inaugural National Artists of Texas Fellowship class. This program sought to use the visual arts to engage and inspire a new generation of Texas voters. For phase two of this program, I created various social media graphics to empower young voters across the state. I used Texan imagery and near-neon colors to get that Texas feeling across.
To help MOVE Texas launch campus chapters across the state, I created a playful brand that motivates young Texans to take action in their communities.
Named after the Mayan word for coffee, Boxha is a coffee house that knows how to stick to its roots. The line illustrations based on Mayan gods are combined with bold type and vibrant colors to create harmonious yet unique pieces throughout the whole brand. Although heavily based on an ancient world, Boxha has a look that fits in the modern age.
